SP200 Names Elton Ash, Walter Schneider, and Pamela Alexander in the List of Real Estate’s Most Powerful Leaders

The SP200 (Swanepoel Power 200) has named RE/MAX of Western Canada’s Regional Executive Vice President, Elton Ash, the 69^th most powerful person in real estate in it’s 2019 edition.  Ash manages the regional operations for RE/MAX Western Canada, which has an approximate 35 per cent market share in the region, with 278 offices and 6,900 agents who do approximately $75 billion in annual sales. Ash joined RE/MAX in 1984 as an agent and assumed his current position in 2005.

The SP200 said “Despite a challenging business environment with competition from many well-funded new business models, RE/MAX grew revenues 11.4 percent in the first nine months of 2018 from the same period in 2017. In addition, it grew net income 32.2 percent to $20.8 million over the same period. Those expecting existing industry franchise giants such as RE/MAX to fade in the face of new competition are mistaken; RE/MAX is going strong marked by new energy and positive growth.”
