RE/MAX Affiliates Elected to Canadian Real Estate Association 2020 Board of Directors

Cliff Stevenson is a licensed REALTOR® and part owner of RE/MAX First in Calgary, Alberta, and has been a busy industry member for the last 14 years. After graduating from the University of Regina with a BA in Economics in 2001, Cliff moved to Calgary to work in the corporate world and began to take a keen interest in real estate shortly thereafter.

While serving as President of the Calgary Real Estate Board in 2016 was a key highlight of Cliff’s volunteer career thus far, Cliff has also served on numerous local and provincial committees. Cliff is a Past-Chair of CREA’s Technology Committee, a Past-Chair of the National Advertising Campaign Committee and served as CREA’s Vice President in 2019.

Larry is the Ontario Regional Director at the Canadian Real Estate Association. He was born and raised in Toronto, graduating from Centennial College in Business and Marketing. Larry became a REALTOR^® in 1981, and a broker in 1987. He is currently a broker/manager for RE/MAX Ultimate Realty Inc. At the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board, his local board, Larry served as director from 2007 to 2018 and sat on many committees as both chair and a member before becoming President of the TRREB in 2016/2017. This position involved many media appearances, including television, radio and print. He has also made significant contributions to the profession’s educational requirements, having served as an OREA designated REI Instructor since 1988. He is the Chair of Financing and a committee member on Governance and By-Laws at CREA. When the day is done and it’s time to relax, Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, Sheree, watching movies, music, the Toronto Raptors, Blue Jays, and sometimes even the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Michael Barrett has been a REALTOR® for 12 years with RE/MAX Valleyview Realty in Brandon, Manitoba. Since 2010 he has served as Treasurer, President-Elect, President and Past President of the former Brandon Estate Board (now Brandon Area REALTORS®, and Treasurer, President-Elect and President of the Manitoba Real Estate Association. Steven Bobiash is an award-winning REALTOR® based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan with RE/MAX Saskatoon. He has a long history of community and board leadership in local, provincial and national organizations. He served four years on the Saskatoon Region Association of Realtors® board including a term as President in 2017 and many association committees. Steven has also served on the Association of Saskatchewan Realtors® Association Government Relations committee. He most   recently co-chaired a successful initiative to amalgamate three Realtor® Associations in Saskatchewan into one provincial association. The process received almost 97% from his home association membership and is a significant renewal for how REALTORS® organize themselves in Saskatchewan.

Phil Moore has been a REALTOR® since 1989, currently with RE/MAX Crest Realty in Burnaby, British Columbia, and with RE/MAX for the past 30 years. He was a Vancouver Police Officer from 1981 to 1989. He served as an REBGV Director for 9 years, including President and spokesperson in 2018, and on various committees/task forces for CREA, BCREA and REBGV over the years. Numerous leadership and governance courses which have helped him develop significant skills to serve as a highly qualified director in any sector.
